Dr. John earned his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, and  completed his residency in orthodontics at the University of Missouri, in Kansas City. He is very passionate about the power orthodontic treatment can have to positively transform lives. He has had his work published in the American Journal of Orthodontics, and he offers continuing education classes for orthodontists across North Dakota.
Dr. John and his wife Beth live on an organic produce farm and have 4 daughters who, along with 30 chickens, keep them very busy. In addition to all the farming and homesteading activities, Dr. John is also an amateur chef and is growing a vineyard for producing wine in the future. Living in Kansas City had its effect on Dr. John, instilling in him a passion for jazz (not your grandpa’s jazz;) and BBQ. He and Beth are active in the shooting sports, and both are certified NRA Instructors. Hunting, photography, hiking, cycling, kayaking, snowshoeing and skiing are other activities he enjoys.
